The meeting on 14 November 2024 demonstrated the value of in-person interaction. This was the third alumni gathering of the Academy for Climate Action. The Climate Lab provided an optimal setting, offering formal and informal networking opportunities as well as updates from Johannes Naimer-Stach and Marion Zöchbauer. A notable feature of the programme was the presentation by Anna Pixer from the KONTEXT Institute for Climate Issues.

She presented the key areas of focus in her work and demonstrated how, for instance, an objective climate debate can succeed on the basis of comprehensive analysis. One of the most engaging topics in the subsequent round of talks was the question of how to bridge the gap between emotional and rational discourse. It should be noted that the valuable resources provided by the KONTEXT Institute are available for use and sharing.

Following the conclusion of the official proceedings, attendees were invited to enjoy a buffet lunch, during which new contacts were made and engaging conversations took place.
